I am a textile artist specialising in sculptural and quilted textiles. I use fabric, stitch and synthetic materials to create three dimensional shapes. These can take various forms: as a piece of artwork for your home; a hanging for an office space; or an unusual window treatment.
Elegant lines, edges and patterns
that can be seen in our surroundings catch my attention. In particular
I look to contemporary architecture, bridges and natural forms. Colours
are chosen to create feelings of calm and tranquility
The hanging illustrated on this page is called Curls and Swirls but you can see a range of my work by clicking above or here to visit my gallery.
I work to commission and for exhibition. Scale can go up and down as necessary, from mobiles to large-scale hangings. I am open to collaborations with other artists.
I give lectures to groups about my textiles, and provide workshops to all ages. I have experience providing workshops in primary, secondary and tertiary education.
Prices on application.
If you are interested in commissioning a piece of work or in my lectures or workshops please contact me at .
I look forward to hearing from you …
